Gresham Saturday Market at MHCC

Local Farm Fresh Produce, Fruits & Berries • Crafts • Fine Art • Artisan Foods • Unique Services • Music • Fun

We have had three great seasons in 2014, 2015, and 2016 with a terrific group of vendors. With our relocation in 2016 to the beautiful Mt. Hood Community College campus, we now have a truly amazing location to grow with.  Opening day will be Saturday, April 15th. We are located in parking lot "W" at the corner of Kane and SE Stark Street. We have generous parking right next to the market lot and we have landscaping all around us. Access is convenient from both Kane and SE Stark Street.

Our Website is growing and we now have "For Vendors" & Newsletter Signup Pages as well as a Gallery of recent Market Photos.

Keep checking back - we will soon have a "Meet our Vendor Page" up and will be adding to it throughout the year.

April 15th through Sept. 30th - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

F2N - The story:
The Full, The Funkal, The Nerdity is now in Full Effect and reytey to step up and give the NW scene that good stuff. You know what I mean! Music that sounds good to your ears, and fuels that soul to get the booty in motion. We guarantee when you hear us, you will feel good inside. Now a word about the band.........

Daniel Covrett - Saxes and flute - Most at home with one foot in jazz and one foot in R & B, Daniel has played in variety of soul jazz, funk, R & B, blues, jump swing, salsa and latin jazz groups. To see more about Daniel, go to http://www.reverbnation.com/danielcovrett

Tony Howard - Bass Aka Tony Bass, Aka Baceo Darker, has played in mostly funk oriented bands to include Funk Rock, Funk, Funk Folk, and Funk Jazz. As you can see, the key word is the Funk. Tony co-led the St. Louis band Fat Monkey, (the overweight Primate) for five years before moving back to the NW. Since arriving in Portland, Tony has played with the Jazz Funk group Deep Suga, the Hip hOp legends, Hungry MOB, the Julia Dawn Project, the Grokkers and many, many more.

Casey Musselman - Guitar Aka Creme de le Creme Gringo Mayonannaise. His affair with music began when he first heard Bob Marley as a young lad. Later, he discovered George Benson and many other great jazz musicians. He met bad ass Baceo Darker, the Booty Sparker. Baceo told cool case that if he wanted to be a great Jazz, Funk, Soul, Blues, or Boogie Woogie musician he had to stop buttering his bread with Mayo!!! So the journey began.....

Sam Siciliano - a native of the Northwest, started drumming at the age of 11. He studied jazz drums and concert percussion throughout highschool and college. During this time, he studied under several star musicians in the Portland jazz scene including Alan Jones, Carlton Jackson, the late Jeff Cumpston, and Kurt Deutcher. He has played in several bands and jazz groups both inside and outside of the music programs at Mt. Hood Community College and Portland State University. While not playing the drums or watching Bernard Purdie videos on YouTube, Sam enjoys a nerdy engineering profession in the computer industry.

Adam Miller - Drums He grew up in Nortwest Illinois where he started playing piano at age 9. He attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa on a piano scholarship and studied under Dr. James Martin. Before graduating with a degree in computer science and music, Adam took a short intermission in Chicago to work at Southport Records and Sparrow Sound Design, an independent record label and recording studio for jazz and blues. In 2002, he moved to Portland and started playing bass in local rock bands. Full Funkal Nerdity is Adam's first venture back into the keyboard world since moving to Portland, and he's feeling quite at home. He is both Funky and Nerdy.
